& Friday, November 27.

Evergreen Indiana Upgrade
Wednesday, November 23 - Sunday, November 29

During the upgrade:

  • Items cannot be renewed.
  • Holds cannot be placed or received.
  • Fines cannot be paid.
  • Cards cannot be issued or renewed.
  • "My Account" services will be unavailable.
  • E-items cannot be checked out from OverDrive or Hoopla.
Be sure to stock up on books and movies,
take care of any unfinished library business,
and load plenty of books onto your e-reader
before the library closes on Wed., Nov. 23.
The following services are currently available:

During this phase of reopening, the following restrictions apply:
  • Time limit: Please keep your visit to 20 min. or less.
  • Checkout limit: 20 books and 5 DVDs per household.
  • Social distancing: Please stay 6 ft. apart from staff and other patrons while in the library.
  • Face masks: By order of the LaGrange County Health Department, face coverings are required for all library visitors age 2 and older.
  • Returned items: All items returned to the library will be quarantined for 72 hours before being checked in, sanitized, and returned to the shelf.
  • Computers: Computers are available by appointment only. There is a one-hour time limit.
  • Study rooms: Study rooms are available by appointment only. There is a one-hour time limit.
  • Meeting rooms: Meeting rooms will be available to small groups, at the Library Director's discretion. Anyone attending a meeting at the library will be required to wear a face covering and observe social distancing guidelines.
Curbside Service
LaGrange County cardholders may place holds via online catalog, phone, or fax. You'll be notified when your items are ready. Please call to let us know when you'd like to pick them up.

Pickup times are available:
  • LaGrange: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Call 260-463-2841.
  • Shipshewana: Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Call 260-768-7444.
  • Topeka: Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Call 260-593-3030.
Wi-Fi service is available 24/7, and is accessible from our patios and parking areas.
